Our ideal candidate needs to have:

• BSc/MSc degree in IT, Telecommunication or related area
• Fluency in English (both written and verbal)
• Understanding of database concepts (Oracle and/or MSSQL and/or MzSQL)
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changes
• Analytical skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in an international team
• Customer oriented approach
  

Responsibilities:

• Installing, configuring and maintaining database infrastructure
• Monitoring availability and capacity thresholds
• Providing technical and analytical services in support of databae operations, maintenance and integration in an operational environment, including server production sites and any backup sites
• Providing administration services on database structures, access to data, data replication support, system backup procedures and disaster recovery procedures
• Providing and maintaining data concurrency and data consistency among server applications and sites
• Supporting development and implementation of applications
• Participating in development projects where required and providing technical input into the design and development of systems to meet new business requirements
• Maintaining and creating operational documentation
