KPMG's Internship program in Audit is designed to give you a breadth of skills and experience. An excellent start to a business career, Audit can equip you with valuable technical skills, broad commercial understanding and in-depth knowledge of different industry sectors. University final year students and graduates joining the Internship Program in Audit will have the opportunity to work in a specific business area during 2 – 4 months in the period October – May and to feel and understand what an Audit really is. The program is suitable for students and graduates without any working experience. Meals and transportation are paid and performance feedback is provided on a regular basis.

Tasks and responsibility:
  • Confirming that the organization’s record of its cash balances agrees with the bank's record
  • Checking that the organization owns the fixed assets (such as buildings, machinery, computers and cars) that it includes in its accounts
  • Helping to ensure that the list of the organization’s suppliers is complete
  • Attending a stock-take to observe the organization’s methods of recording stock
  • Test-counting a sample of the company's stock items
  • Recording and testing the organization’s processes and controls
  • Helping in preparation of the final accounts, reports that summarizes the key issues that have come to light during the audit, and recommends potential improvements to the client's systems, business processes and controls

Requirements:
  • University Degree (or final year of studying) in Audit / Accounting / Finance / Management
  • Minimum average grade during studies 8 or equivalent (for international Universities)
  • Fluent English 
  • Knowledge of any additional language is a plus
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills and multitasking
